Amy Bukszpan is the founder and lead clinician at Bukszpan Behavior Consultants. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctorate Level & Licensed NY State Behavior Analyst. Amy received her MS in Early Childhood Special Education and advanced degree in Behavior Analysis from Hunter College and received her doctorate in Behavior Analysis from the Institute of Behavioral Studies at Endicott College under the mentorship of Dr. Justin Leaf. Her research emphasis is on compassionate care and training, focusing on behavioral artistry and rapport building to increase client outcomes and to improve job quality and enjoyment for employees. Amy has published chapters and articles in peer reviewed journals and texts and has worked in homes, schools, day-habilitation, and developmental centers from early intervention to geriatric populations. Dr. Bukszpan worked with a team of clinicians to increase access to non-institutional long-term services for adults living in developmental centers in NY State and was a clinical leader at a national ABA therapy company writing training curriculum for ABA professionals. Amy loves teaching and supporting the next generation of behavior analysts and adjuncts at various universities and colleges. Amy is an avid ultra runner, puppy lover, and head coach at Banana Champs Performance Coaching & Behavioral Consulting.
